Aquaguard-1 Overview

Aquaguard-1 Solution is a highly active, non-volatile, non-corrosive, and non-toxic treatment for preserving water quality and preventing contamination in the water pan of a cell culture incubator.

Aquaguard-1 Solution has antimicrobial and fungicidal properties meaning it is effective against a broad spectrum of common lab contaminants, including gram-negative bacteria, yeast, fungi and mycoplasma. Aquaguard-1 Solution has been validated for use in incubators culturing human stem cells. When used as instructed, Aquaguard-1 has been to shown to have no effect on the morphology, cell proliferation and expansion, pluripotency marker expression, or karyotype of human pluripotent stem cells.

Instructions for Use

1.  Clean incubator water pan and fill with sterile water.
2. Add 10 mL of Aquaguard-1 Solution per 1 L of water in the water pan
3. Replace water within water pan and add new Aquaguard-1 every 2 to 4 weeks, as needed.

• Note: One bottle of Aquaguard-1 is sufficient for two treatments of a 5-liter water bath.
