Bio-Pure Human Serum Albumin is a xeno-free supplement, specifically validated for the growth and expansion of undifferentiated human pluripotent stem cells (hES & hiPSC) in both feeder-dependent and feeder-free conditions. Human Serum Albumin (HSA) is a medium supplement that is a highly soluble osmolytic protein with a high molecular weight.

Human Serum Albumin can help successful maintain hPS cell morphology, growth and proliferation. It is particularly valuable in maintaining cell membrane stability. Human Serum Albumin facilitates the binding of anionic, cationic and neutral molecules, in addition to being able to sequester and stabilise a wide array of ions and other small molecules.
